Today is November 9, 2008. It’s the 314th day of the year.
The moon will be void of course at 11:29 am, and enters Aries at 12:26 am.
It was on this day, in 1960, that Patricia and Arnold Crowther were married in a civil ceremony after having been handfasted by Gerald Gardner on Nov. 8 in that same year.
On Tuesday, November 11, the moon is void at 2:17 pm, and enters Taurus at 3:05 pm.
Tuesday is also Veteran’s day, on which we honor all of our veterans. It was formerly known as Armistice day, and was a celebration of the end of World War 1.
Thursday sees a full moon at 1:17 am, and a void moon at 12:12 pm which will enter Gemini at 3:11 pm.
Saturday, the 15th, the moon will be void at 2:17 pm, and enters Cancer at 2:52 pm.
It was on this date in 1993 that the
Services Currently offered by ATC Canada include: Legal Handfastings,
Hospital and Prison Clergy, and the only Ordained Wiccan University Chaplain in
Canada.”
Ongoing, weekly:
Prayer Requests
Every Sunday
Time: 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Location: Your own home
Notes: Please answer this request post stating your reason for healing energy and/or
prayers sent your way. Prayer requests can be asked for other than healing and
for other than yourself.
A white candle will be lit for you on Sunday unless you request another color
to be used. This is a group event so the more people involved the better. Feel
free to join sending out energy. Always keep in mind that requests are always
done for the highest good of all concerned. This may mean the outcome may be
different than we hope for. The spiritual healing work we do is designed to
work in harmony with other treatment modalities, not as a subsitute.

November 15, 2008Uncanoonuc CUUPS will hold a Protection Ritual at Myths&Maidens
We all need protection in our lives. Some of us need physical protection.
Other people may need psychological protection from the stresses of life, where
others may need protection from psychic attacks. Regardless of your need, this
ritual is designed to help you achieve a shield of protection that will help
you regardless if it is for physical, emotional, mental or spiritual
protection.
The Full Moon will have just reached its peak a day before,
and now begins her waning trek toward darkness. Imagine anything harmful
leaving you…waning away just as the Moon wanes. Join us as we tap into the
remaining energies of the Full Moon that resonate around us. Help us as we
charge our crystals, stones or charms.
A special focus will be made for all people who are currently in the Armed
Forces and for people whose job may place them in harm's way.
Bring a small stone or charm to be charged. Malachite is highly recommended
as is Black Tourmaline and Black Obsidian, and Thor's Hammer. These items may
be purchased at Myths&Maidens right before the
ritual.

Sunday, December 21, we'll celebrate Yule, or the Winter Solstice. In honor
of that day, we'll celebrate the solstice, here at PaganFM!
You're invited to attend a solstice ritual right here at the station. We'll
have the ritual, then cakes and ale (non-alcoholic), fellowship, and then start
the radio program as usual, at midnight. Consider joining us, and send us an
email at dee@paganfm.com so that we can
know how many people to expect and plan accordingly.
