Ongoing, weekly:

Prayer Requests

Every Sunday
Time: 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Location: Your own home
Notes: Please answer this request post stating your reason for healing energy and/or prayers sent your way. Prayer requests can be asked for other than healing and for other than yourself.
A white candle will be lit for you on Sunday unless you request another color to be used. This is a group event so the more people involved the better. Feel free to join sending out energy. Always keep in mind that requests are always done for the highest good of all concerned. This may mean the outcome may be different than we hope for. The spiritual healing work we do is designed to work in harmony with other treatment modalities, not as a subsitute.

NEPW Walking Club

Until - Aug. 28th. 2010
Derry, New Hampshire

Event Details: Come one and all and join fellow Pagans and Witches for your health and wellness.

All fitness levels welcomed. It is that time of year again to be outside walking in nature. So, join NEPW Saturdays at Noon in front of Biglots in Shaws Plaza, Derry NH.

First walk is only one mile but feel free to do whatever you are able. This is a free event and not a race.

After the walk participants may join at the Coffee Factory in the same plaza and relax together. Come join us.

The goal is to focus on our wellness. The last walk, in August, will be a 5K walk to raise money for the NH Animal Rescue League. People do not have to do the entire 5K (3.1 miles) to participate. Focusing on their own health and wellness is the main goal.

The Concord UU Earth Centered Spirituality Group will hold a Lughnassadh Ritual and Feast

Aug. 1st. 2010, Concord, New Hampshire

Gather for the first harvest ritual and feast!

Event Details: It's time for the Concord UU Earth Centered Spirituality Group's Lughnassadh Ritual and Feast.

Join us to celebrate the time of the first harvest. There will be our usual ritual fare:

Songs, a dance or two, chants, laughs, The Goddess, the God and the Elements.

Beginners and solitaries welcome!

After the close of the circle, we'll gather for a potluck feast, so bring your favorite dish or drink to share if you'd like.

Come and share the gift and blessing of food, and the community of sharing a meal.

We'll be on the patio or in the parlor for this ritual to be closer to the feast which is in Fellowship Hall .

Note that the feast is after the official end to the ritual for those that don't want to be a part of that. However the Lughnassadh feast is some people's favorite!

Here is this announcement's poem. Perhaps less light hearted than some of them, but an important reminder of what the Sabbats do for me, and so perhaps for others...

The seasons often turn too fast,
Shovel the snow, then cut the grass,
So mark each Sabbat true and well,
The urgent rush to better quell,
to slow time's march and stall death's knell.

Ritual and feast, please join us for one or both.
I hope to see you there!

Shawn

Event Location: 274 Pleasant Street in Concord
Event TIME Details: 7:00 PM

Upcoming classes at Sun Moon Stars Herbals

Sunday, 7/25Knitting for World Peace 11:30-1 ALL WELCOME

-Intro to Modern Pagansim with Mike Dolan 3-5 p.m. $15.

Friday, 7/30- How an Astrologer Reads a Horoscope with Kelley Taylore. 6:30-8p.m. $15 pre-paid, $20 at the door.
You have your birth chart: a circle with twelve pie-like divisions, numbers, and a lot of strange symbols.
You ask the astrologer if you would make a good lawyer. She or he looks at the chart and says that the probability of you becoming a lawyer is slim and that your talents are in teaching. How did he astrologer come to that conclusion from these symbols and numbers placed in a circle based on your time, place and date of birth?
This workshop will explain what an astrologer looks at when answering your questions. No previous experience with astrology is necessary to attend this class. Bring your birth charts to class so that we may use them as examples.
If you don’t have a copy of your birth chart, email blaketaylore@yahoo.com for a copy.
I will need your birth date, time of birth and place of birth. The fee for the chart is ten dollars, payable in cash at the beginning of class.

You will leave with a flower essence dosage blend for yourself, a blend that you will choose with the help of the instructor. Handout and flower essence blend included. If you have a pendulum, please bring it with you. Pendulums will be available to borrow for those who do not have one.

The Temple of Witchcraft will hold a Mabon Celebration

Sep. 18th. 2010 Salem, New Hampshire 7 PM – 9 PM (please arrive by 6:45 PM to check-in)

With Alix Wright

Event Details: Email pisces@templeofwitchcraft.org to preregister.

The time of balance is with us once more as light and dark are equal. The Lord of Light gives his life in sacrifice, his blood is spilled to renew the land. Mabon, the second of the Harvest festivals, celebrates this sacrifice, acknowledging their necessity in the cycle of life and death. We will connect to the God and the animals that give their lives so that we may eat, using masks and ecstatic postures in meditation. We may follow the journey of Llew to the Underworld, after he is betrayed by the flower maiden, Blodeuwedd, or we may follow Persephone as she returns to her Underworld kingdom to reign as Queen beside Hades. Only you can chose your destination. You may bring a ritual mask, or face paint if you wish. All denominations are welcome, only an open heart is necessary.

Event Location: 107 Main St in Salem
